Please mark your calendars. The IB Recognition Event is May 17th, 2015.
The Recognition Event honors IB students in all grades as well as faculty and staff. This family event is entirely produced and run by the IBPA’s members: that’s you! Please sign up to help. Many of these jobs require less than two hours of work between now and the end of the event. A few require a bit more.

This event takes many hands to make a success. There are four main areas that require help.
Reception Team: This area includes providing refreshment after the event, setting up tables, helping serve, clean up, and greeting guests.
Printing Team: This team produces the invitations and programs. The templates for these already exist – we need parents to update them with correct dates, etc.
Staging Team: This team helps set up inside the auditorium for the event – setting up chairs, podiums, directing speakers onto the stage.
Class coordinators: Each class is honored and participates in the event. We need parents to help direct students on the day of the event and some to attend a practice.
Special teams: We are also looking for a few parents to help with (1) creating a power point presentation and (2) editing the senior biographies.
The coordinators for each team simply check in with team members when necessary. They are the person that the IBPA chair will work with in each of the areas.
